Ohhhh! So I didn't update for 5 days. What a horrible blogger. Okay well I was at Matthews for a day. Then I took a day off from the computer. Then was at Matthews again. Then went camping with my family (remind me never to do THAT again!). I kind of.. well.. didn't have time. *sigh*

But I'm home now (well for a few hours anyway). Matthew and I are going to work on some video editing tomorrow, see what kind of effects we can do, and then build some lightsaber hilts like the nerds we are. But you didn't hear that from me. But as you can see from the time I wrote this.. its kind of late. Well not really. But ever since I quit WoW I actually feel tried.. I think WoW had some way of absorbing the tiredness. Might explain a lot.

I'll tell you tomorrow (or rather later today, seeing how its already tomorrow o_O) about my weekend and what not. Until then... May the force be with you.

So first off Happy Canada Day to everyone! I don't have anything planned as of yet but I'm going to try to get in touch with Kristy & Laura and see if they want to go to the fireworks again, we did last year. Wow.. I can't believe how fast time has gone by! Ahh! And if its July already it don't be long before Laura leaves again for University. *cry*

So because I didn't get my house built in the Sims 3 yesterday, I'm hoping to get it done today, but not going to work on it until after I get more of the website pages complete. Need to get it all up before I can start advertising it again, don't want hits with no content! Ick!

It feels so nice to have the old blog back, you have no idea. I suppose for me to continue blogging I'll need to get a life again, meaning a job probably, and actually leaving my computer. Ho hum. I suppose I can swing that.

So I've added in the music player (I may adjust its rank on the sidebar later on, but for now at the top it works fine). I included Beat It, by FOB, a remix of the Michale Jackson song (R.I.P), I think its quite good. I even had it stuck in my head all day. Added a few japanese songs I like in as well, even if you don't understand it you can still appreciate the tune of it! I've also added a quick click button for following me on Twitter, which I advise you do, because what better way to find out whats going on that directly following me? Just don't start stalking me is all o_O I hope to have the remaining pages up soon, very soon, with he contact form, site content, and tutorials. So the site should be complete and functional by Thursday evening at the latest. Tomorrow is Canada day so I'll either get absolutely nothing done, or get a lot done. Who knows.

Well hello hello. Its morning. Well.. latter morning at least. Today should be interesting. Hoping to get the old layout up, just love it soo much. Was simple but easy to read / navigate. And I like the colours, hehe. I got a 72 hour suspension on Neopets (rofl) for posting a link to my blog. TNT is a bunch of noobs. Yes, you heard me TNT, you're noobs. So I'm using my side account, joshualive. Isn't that a sad depressing plain layout? I really need to update it to my main accounts layout, when its unbanned. *sigh*

Here is todays checklist:
- Get the old layout up
- Build & post my new sims house
- Remember to eat (I get a bit lost when 'working')
- Take out the garbage (Done)
- & Work on some webbie content
Not that long of a list nor should it be too hard to complete. Going to start off with The Sims, I'm in a house building mood. Err, digital house that is.

Guess whos back!

Thats right. After one year (to the date even!) Joshua is back. Why do you ask, did he vanish? Well you can ask one of his 4 level 80 World of Warcrack characters. Seriously - that game is a drug. I was addicted to it forever. Massive waste of money and time. I missed my friends. I missed my graphics. I missed the REST of the Internet (not the 11 million playing WoW). I missed.. everything. Love really. I was looking through my old photobucket, and thats what really made me decide to quit it. So its been removed from my laptop completely, I cancelled my subscription, and I'm freee!

So the blog is going to be up and fully running by Thursday I hope, when I have the new layout and all the content complete. Well.. whats left of it from previously. Oh oh oh and guess what! Matthew is going to be joining the blog! (Okay when I typed blog I actually typed Guild the first time - God help me!) Hes a buddy of mine, we went to high school together, and hes dating one of my best friends, Kristy. So hes going to be joining the blog as well, to help cope with his WoW Rehab as well. Haha. I wonder if they really have WoW Rehab... *runs to google*

I'm really happy to be back. I actually went into town today. Bought the Sims 3 (Not nearly as addicting, and I'll be able to create houses and families and upload their stories onto the blog and you can follow them too. Speaking of follow, ya'll need to start following my twitter! Yeah. I'm hooked onto it, its quite amusing.

So the plan is to have the blog up and running by Thursday, on the new layout (this temp one is cute but its a customized premade is all, but @Rooeh is god-like, seriously). Once the layout is up and running, I'll bring all the remaining old posts over (I'm missing about 4 pages worth of entries unfortunately, not sure where they ran off to while I was occupied in Azeroth (WoW world). And I'll need to get some tutorials up for aspiring graphic artists, well basic tutorials as I'm no God.. yet ;)


Thunderstorm

So it is thunder storming out. Normally I LOVE thunderstorms, except when its nearly 1 am and power keeps flickering. Its not so great.

So as to the new layout I was working on, it worked perfectly in Firefox, but not in Internet explorer. For some reason the music player div wasn't aligning properly. But not to fret, I am working on fixing that, with the help of Katyha. Thank goodness. Anyway new music play list, only four songs. But seeing as there was not as much content as I had planned with in the new layout you won't be on here for long. Anyway the rain has stopped, so I shall go now. Hopefully the new layout can be finished by the end of next week!

So I gave up. How horrid. Well I wouldn't say I gave up as much as I'm putting it on hold. But I can't not have something up. So I will use the LOVELY premade from rooeh.net, because they are love.

So it is raining out. Its very grey. Kind of how I'm feeling I suppose. But on the bright side, this is shaping to be a good summer. Two weeks in and I have been out nearly every day & night. Pretty good start if I do say so my self. I really don't want to go to work tonight. But I never do. I have to quit, and soon. But I need to find another job first. Blah. Anyway that's it for now. I have to edit & update all the pages with this layout. Peace.


HULK, SMASH

Whoooo! Just went and saw the hulk, it was freaking amazing. Well compared to the first one. And the very ending bar scene.. whats going to happen now?! I don't want to ruin it, but for those who have seen it, if they combine those 2 movies, it'd be freaking amazing! If you like your action comic book movies, this is a must see, especially if they combine two movies together.

In other news, two more songs have been added to the music player, Steady As She Goes, and Mr. Brightside, both good songs. I'd still love suggestions for more! i think theres 8 songs on there now. Or maybe its 10. I don't feel like checking.

Rather short entry. I sent out invites to 18 people about joining the mailing list for the site, & you'll get emails whenever I update. Most likely daily. Thats it for today!


Flashback!

Haha, so its Monday. I woke up shortly after 9 pm, replied to Andrews text saying hes up too, and ready whenever. I went over to his place at 10, we played some PS2 (old school eh?), went to Subway for lunch, then went into jumbo and rented Twisted Metal, and Sonic. Was a major flashback to when I was little and played those games on the PS1. Was pretty funny. It was a pretty fun day.

Hes gone to pick up his mom right now, but I have to message him in about half an hour and we might go to a movie. Possibly the new Hulk movie. Its looks pretty good. Hope its better than the first! & He got into a military summer thing he wanted to get into! Hes pretty happy about that. It means he'll leave in like.. 2 weeks, and then he'll be back right before school starts again, but thats cool, hes coming back to HC too, so we'll still be able to chill.

Anyway.. I'm trying to think of what else to say. Oh yea! I went to get my check, but my boss took the rest of today off and so they won't be in until tomorrow. Sets our plans to go into town back a little, but only by about an an hour. Wonder how much I'll get payed.. I didn't keep track of my hours this time. It won't be much I don't think.

Like I said in my last entry, there is now a pentool tutorial up, so be sure to check that out alright! And any suggestions for new tutorials are helpful, just leave a comment in the box until I get the contact form up and running.

Beautiful Weather

Well I walked home from work at 9, it was a little warm out still - but I didn't mind. Anyway I just took my puppy for a walk, and the weather out is amazing. Its like 19 degrees, with a nice wind, and it smells.. fresh. Like everything is clean. Its really nice. I was going to go out on the deck and do an update, possibly a tutorial, when I remembered my laptop isn't working! It did an update the other day & now won't work, so Acer is sending me reboot software, but I hope it won't get rid of all my files, I'd be very upset. Theres still tons of stuff on there that I haven't uploaded, and bookmarks that aren't on my desktop. But one can only hope..

Tomorrow I'm going to chill with Andrew, its supposed to rain so I have no idea what we will do but we should be able to find something. We want to stay in the 'View', because were taking the car to go into town tomorrow, and gas isn't cheep you know.. freaking $1.29 a liter! Its outrageous. But on Tuesday we have some running around to do, then we'll hit the mall.

Also, I added another 5 or 6 songs to the music player. Check them out! If you want to see a certain song added just leave a message in the box and I'll see if I can get it alright!

I'm going to get to work on another tutorial. I'd like to have more than one up there. Haha. Plus its a pretty basic one. I actually learned it from Tiffany on vaporxia. But I don't know what do to for my next one. Maybe a pentool one? Thats simple but a great thing to know!

EDIT @ 11:44pm: I didn't want to make a new post just to say this, plus it would be very short, but a new pen tool tutorial has been added. Check it out on the content page! Also, if you have suggestions for tutorials, please post them in the shout box! Comments & ideas are greatly appreciated!


Plant Time!

Whoo! I woke up today at 11:30. A little too late for my liking but thats ok. Anyway I woke up, cleaned my room, currently doing my laundry, transplanted my bamboo form a vase to a pot that I painted (its really cool, I'll try to get some pictures if I can find my batteries for my camera), and thats about it. But I actually enjoy cleaning my room. Its spotless now. I tidied up my closet, my office (ok its a desk with a laptop, lamp, and plant, but I call it my "office" haha), and my dresser. Everything is clean. Then I came upstairs and trimmed the plants in the living room and kitchen, and watered them, and organized them. Haha. I love plants. Can you tell?

I'm working at 4 today, until 9. Maybe 8 if I can convince Chris to stay until 9 haha. He tends to like to stay later, its more money for him. I don't care about the money, its just going to sit in a bank account for the summer more of less. Although I do get payed tomorrow, but I have to go buy my clothes for prom on Friday! Yay! I don't have a date, but whatever, I don't need one. I'm going with a bunch of friends & they matter the most! Man, that sounds so cheesy. Oh well. They know there loved. & Then my graduation is on Wednesday the 25th, so that should be.. boring. Haha. I hope we don't have a mass, I'm not religious.

Tomorrow I believe I'm going to hang out with Andrew, but if not Tuesday for sure, were going to stop at HC so I can grab my prom ticket form my locker, & clean that out, and then were off to the mall, & thats when I'll get my prom stuff.

Anyway I'm off to work on a tutorial before work. See you later!


Major Scare

ZOMG. Out of no where, my entire site turned into text. I had no idea why! I started to panic. Until I realized while trying to install lightbox, and failing, I deleted all of the style sheets for it - including my css sheet, causing the site to show up as text only. Thank GOODNESS i saved a copy.. or 4. Haha. So its all good now! no more worries.

But want to know whats bad? That thing I forgot earlier.. I remembered.. and because of the scare - I forgot again. It'll come back to me if its important haha.

Its going to be a pain moving posts from page to page when ever I add a new one, I wish there was an easier way without getting into all of that wordpress / cutenwes junk. I'd rather not worry about that right now.

I need to get more content for the content page (obviously) and some more junk for the randoms page. They look too bare, and I need to fill them up. Maybe I'll put a youtube series up on there that I like or something of that nature. As for the content page I'm going to soon be doing some tutorials and will have them all uploaded on there! Hurrah!

Well I just got off work. I wasn't feeling top of my game so George (my boss) let me go early. I really dislike my job - I work in a pizza restaurant. I used to work in a real restaurant for two years, where I made pizza & munchies, but I'd also make full course meals, like steaks, & fettuccine alfredo - but then they closed. So now I make pizza.. how dull. I hope I get the job at Loblaws when I apply. Because I can't make pizza all summer. Or if I get the job at an office I applied at, its a full time, 8am-4pm job, doing copying and filing, but it beats the pants of a 94 degree pizza store.

I was going to talk about something.. but I forgot while complaining about work. I can't remember. Oh well. I will eventually..
